I’m planning on staying my summer (between 6 and 8 weeks) in Poland with some of my family. Usually, I bring a normal camera with film and what not but it’s always a hassle getting the pictures developed. I want to bring my digital camera with me so I can take pictures. The camera is battery powered and I will have limited access to my uncle’s computer, but I won’t be able to upload the pictures I don’t think. Any tips or ideas for bringing the digital camera or is just a bad idea?

However, like I said, the camera fully functions in every aspect other than that. Also, drop protection software had activated. Does anyone know if there is a way to reset it so that I can use it again without deleting all the video data?

The only problem is that Graphic Design school is expensive enough, so I plan on teaching my self the basics in digital photography……so I would like some recommendations on a starter digital camera that isnt too expensive! I have a simple Kodak Easy Share 3.1 camera….im assuming it wont make the cut! Although I use photoshop to manipulate photo’s i take – I figure I would still need a better camera to take better shots…. any recommendations/ideas on cameras, equipment, how to get started would help and be greatly appreciated.

The first was the Polaroid a700, which worked fine until after I dropped it a few times. It started malfunctioning and doing all sorts of weird things. Then I ended up breaking the screen. The next one I had was the Kodak EasyShare MD853. It was a good camera that had amazing mega pixels, but once again broke because it was dropped so much. I’m a clumsy person, and I need a good quality camera that can handle 4ft drops without breaking. Any ideas?
